Privacy Policy

AutoDates collects the minimum information needed to operate the Service:

• Email address (for account + billing notifications)
• Instagram username (the handle you connect or audit)
• Audit results (scores and recommendations we generate)
• Targeting preferences (city, age range, tone)
• Payment information, handled by Stripe — we never store your card number or CVV
• Basic analytics (page views, button clicks, audit run count)

We do not store the contents of your Instagram messages. We never store your Instagram password. We do not store the contents of your DMs, the photos or messages of any people you interact with via the agent, or any private Instagram data. All of this happens locally on your own computer and never reaches our servers.

We share narrow slices of the above data with the following processors only as needed to deliver the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts)
• Supabase — encrypted database hosting
• Vercel — web hosting and edge network
• Anthropic — AI processing for your audit images and message generation prompts, never your Instagram DMs
• Moonshot AI (Kimi K2.5) — message generation prompts, never your Instagram DMs

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Audit results are retained for 90 days. Conversation logs (local-only drafts written to our server for debugging) are retained for 60 days and then permanently deleted.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email support@autodates.io from the address associated with your account and we will fulfill the request within 30 days.

All traffic between your browser / desktop app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted via Supabase's managed encryption. We do not store user passwords — sign-in uses magic-link authentication. Instagram session cookies are stored encrypted on your own device and never leave your machine.

AutoDates uses only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

AutoDates is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover an account belonging to a person under 18, we will delete the account and all associated data immediately.
